Gewonnen!

Danke, liebe Sylvia!

Look, what a charming pincushion I've won! There had been a secret raffle at the Flickenstichlerei among the readers of this blog and I was the lucky winner. Thank you, dear Sylvia!

Habe im Moment keine großen Projekte am Laufen, nur hin und wieder nähe ich einen Hobbit-Block - diesmal "Barrels out of Bond" (Vorlage von Lilja Björk), "The Bridge to Rivendell" (Vorlage von Jennifer Ofenstein)  und "The Lord of the Eagles" (Vorlage von Jennifer Ofenstein), den ich aber in einer anderen Version nochmal nähen werde, weil er mir doch nicht so gefällt.

I have no big projects on the go at the moment, only now and then I am sewing a Hobbit-block - this time "Barrels out of Bond" (pattern by Lilja Björk), "The Bridge to Rivendell" (pattern by Jennifer Ofenstein) and "The Lord of the Eagles" (pattern by Jennifer Ofenstein), but I will sew another version of this block, as I don't really like it after all.

Liebe Dagmar,

Dagmar, I love your blocks -- and lucky you, winning such a dear pincushion!

I posted some quilt photos on my FB page today -- hope you see them. From an exhibit at our museum. I'll be doing a post on them in a bit but things are pretty busy now so on a semi-blog break!
